Thanks so much for drumming for us! There are instructions and recordings below. You can also download everything by clicking here. I really appreciate your help — I'm no good as a drummer, and I think it will add a lot to the services.
It would be great if you could join us for 15 minutes for a couple of rehearsals so you can get a feel for the song with the whole group. Thursdays at 6pm: Aug. 23, Aug. 30, Sept. 6. But don't hesitate to contact me if you need anything — I'm happy to practice with you as much as you'd like.
Selichot Service • Saturday, Sept. 1, 8:30pm
•I'll teach the refrain to the congregation. Don't worry about drumming then.
•Once we're ready to sing, I'll count off "1-2-3-4" to get you started.
•At the end of the final refrain, I'll slow down. You can do a drum roll at that point, and get louder when I finish the last syllable "aleinu."
Rosh HaShanah AM Service • Monday, Sept. 10 @ 10am
